Eugene Ugorski -Violin
Eugene Lifschitz -Cello
Deric Tay -Piano
|
|
After these three young gifted artists perform
solo repertoire and collaborate performing Mendelssohn's Piano
Trio in D minor. This program will focus on their musical
lives in a symposium that will explore the development of
prodigy talent - the role of the teacher, parent and patrons
and role models.
Students will hear from musicians close to their own age about
the importance of discipline and commitment necessary to achieve
a mastery of the art form. Broward County youth will have
a deeper understanding of the music profession through hands-on
interaction with professional musicians.
A Panel Discussion on Prodigies will follow their performance
and it will include violinists, Ida Handel, Igor and Vesna
Gruppman, pianists Francesco Libetta, Pietro De Maria, Piotr
Anderszewski, lecturers Norman Lebrecht and Bryce Morrison.
