My heartfelt warm wishes for you this Holiday Season. Your love and support for the Miami International Piano Festival means the world to us.  You have been instrumental in shaping the future of the great pianists we have embraced, by believing in our mission, as we guide them into the future.   

The 2025 Season has been a crucial and exciting year for us.   The 27 years of discovery are finally bearing fruit with several extraordinary projects on the horizon energizing and inspiring all of us.   As part of our mission, we bring renewed inspiration to the lives of our artists, and unparallelled experiences to you, our audience. The MIPF is truly unique because every artist is compelling and passionate and anxious to share their vision with our audience. 

The MIPF prides itself for providing our artists with a ‘home,’ and a unique space where they can share their creativity, philosophy, and vision, when performing and inspiring our audience, their peers, and the next generation of young pianists.  The unprecedented number of recitals we have in store this season (22) shows our passion for the piano and makes Miami today the capital of Piano in the world.  

We are proud to state that the Miami International Piano Festival is today a recognized brand that resonates all over the world as unique, controversial and creative, as the New York Times described it in a featured article on Jan. 5, 2003. This is   A Piano Festival That Was Born to Be Contrary, and its mission carries a powerful conviction.    

The MIPF Academy, established in 2015, has evolved as a powerful heaven for great talent, and has influenced and inspired already more than 500 pianists from all over the world. MIPFA’s programs — held annually in Miami Beach and at the Gustav Mahler Cultural Center in Dobbiaco, Italy — offer a deeply immersive educational environment. Participants receive intensive private lessons, thematic masterclasses, performance experience, and exposure to lectures, films, collaborative projects, and cross-disciplinary workshops. They learn not only from internationally acclaimed pianists but also from historians, chamber musicians, and distinguished guests artists, fostering a broad and holistic musical education.

The impact of this training is profound and well-documented. Many of the pianists who entered MIPFA as undiscovered talents have since emerged as internationally recognized artists, represented by leading management and performing at major festivals and concert halls. 

The Academy has built a reputation for cultivating artistry, not competition — and for building lasting artistic partnerships. Unlike many organizations that offer a single debut, MIPFA remains deeply invested in its alumni, providing ongoing performance opportunities, video productions, mentorship, and a supportive artistic community that accompanies them well beyond one program.

Through its concert series, discovery programs, international faculty, and virtual platform, the Miami International Piano Festival Academy continues to expand its reach and influence, shaping the next generation of pianists while preserving the tradition of great musical masters.
